Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the factors that affect the success of the implementation of information systems in organizations, through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to 10 selected studies from a total of 570 identified literature. Evaluations are conducted based on various dimensions such as system quality, information, and user satisfaction, as well as management support, change management, and strategic impact on organizational performance. The results of the study show that the success of the implementation of information systems is highly determined by the high quality of the system and information, which has a direct impact on user satisfaction and operational effectiveness. In addition, top management involvement, alignment of business and IT strategies, and effective change management are other determinants of success. Information systems have also been proven to improve the efficiency of data management, timely decision-making, and the quality of financial statements, especially in the public and accounting sectors. However, challenges such as lack of training, user resistance, and weak system integration are still obstacles. Therefore, organizations need to focus attention on strengthening infrastructure, human resource development, and supporting policies to ensure the successful implementation of information systems in a sustainable manner. The findings of this study make an important contribution as a basis for strategic decision-making and the development of information systems that are more adaptive and responsive to the needs of modern organizations.
