Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the awareness and skills of housewives in Pekon Negeri Ratu in utilizing used cooking oil waste into valuable products, namely aroma therapy. The use of used cooking oil as an aroma therapy ingredient not only helps reduce the negative impact of waste on the environment, but also opens up economic opportunities for the community. This activity began with socialization about the dangers of used cooking oil waste if not managed properly, followed by practical training on how to process used cooking oil into a safe and useful aroma therapy. The participants were also given insights on how to market aromatherapy products to increase family income. The results of this activity show that housewives in Pekon Negeri Ratu have succeeded in processing used cooking oil into aroma therapy that is useful to increase comfort at home, as well as acquiring new skills that can be used to open business opportunities. This activity has a positive impact both in terms of the environment and the economy, and encourages awareness of the importance of environmentally friendly waste management.
