Abstract

Increasing environmental awareness, especially among the younger generation, is an important step in dealing with the increasingly complex waste problem in urban areas. This service program aims to increase the awareness and skills of generation Z at the Ta'lim Baiturrahman Council in Serang City in environmentally friendly waste management. This activity includes education about the types of waste, its impact on the environment, as well as waste sorting and processing techniques that can be applied in daily life. Through theoretical materials delivered interactively and practicum sessions, participants were directly involved in the practice of sorting waste and making compost. The results of this activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of waste management and a commitment to implement that knowledge in their environment. It is hoped that this program can be an example for other communities in creating broader and sustainable environmental awareness.
